A Basket of Roses Cake Recipe

    Materials
    Cake made in a heart shaped mold #2
    Tray
    1 recipe of butter cream glaze
    1 recipe of royal glaze
    Pink and green food coloring paste
    Decorating sleeve
    Filter tips #301, 401, 76, 84, 40 and 71
    Nails to make flowers

    Prepare the roses according to what is explained in glaze flower techniques.

    In total they are 17 roses done with filter tip #301 in a light pink color, placing a strong pink color on the decorating sleeve with a spatula before, and 13 roses done with filter tip #401 (3 a strong pink and the rest at a medium tone).

    Shaping and decoration

    1. Place the cake on the tray and cover it with white glaze.
    2. Work on the sides with a whicker point, tracing the vertical lines with filter tip #40 and pink glaze, and the stretches that cross in white with filter tip for whickers.
    3. Leave the top and bottom borders with a rope point which are made with white glaze and filter tip #71.
    4. Place the roses in the following form: the lighter ones go on the outskirts, the intermediate ones on the inside and the 3 strong pink ones in the center.
    5. Intercalate the leaves made with a light green glaze and filter tip #76.
