All Pirates Cake Recipe

    Materials
    For the treasure map
    Cake made with a rectangular mold #2
    Base wrapped with pink metal paper with a border of 3 cm bigger than the cake
    1 recipe butter cream glaze
    Brown, blue, green, red and black food coloring paste
    Decorating sleeve
    Filter tips #22, 30, 40, 56 and 80
    Reduced jam
    Mixed sugar and cinnamon
    A little royal glaze
    White thin cardboard
    4 cookies
    Pretzel sticks
    Butter paper
    Chocolate coins

    For the pirate
    Cake made with a Santa Claus mold
    A wrapped base with the same shape as the cake
    1 recipe of butter cream glaze
    Brown, skin, black and light blue food coloring paste
    Decorating sleeve
    Filter tips #21, 30, 61 and 81
    Brush
    Cornstarch 

    Shaping and decoration

    For the treasure map

    1. Place the cake on top of the wrapped cardboard, cover the top surface with beige glaze and the sides brown.
    2. Make a brown ribbing in a zigzag shape with filter tip #22 and on the top sides make a string with #40.
    3. Mark the surroundings of the map and outline it with with brown glaze using filter tip #30.
    4. Prepare the reduced jam a blue color and cover the surface of the water.
    5. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar in the area that corresponds to sand.
    6. Paint a red cross in an area that shows where the treasure is hidden.
    7. Make the skull and crossbones on top of butter paper with white glaze and filter tip #80.
    8. Place the skull and crossbones on the water.
    9. Make a sign with the fine cardboard and place it where the cross is at.
    10. Spread the chocolate coins around the cake.

    Palm trees
    To make the palm trees  use green glaze and leaf filter tip #56, make some leaves on top of the pretzel sticks. Let them dry and place them in groups  on top of the cake.

    Ships

    1. Make two ship  by cutting the cookies in points, fill them and cover them with brown glaze.
    2. Use filter tip #22 to imitate the wood, place 3 standing sticks to hold on to the sails and a little piece on the prow.
    3. Make the sails with fine cardboard and stick them.
    4. Place the ships in the water.

    The pirate

    1. Cover the cake which should be on the base with skin colored glaze on the face.
    2. With light blue glaze placed in a decorating sleeve and filter tip #30 mark the parts of the hat.
    3. Fill them with white and light blue making star points with filter tip #61. cover the pompon with the same filter tip but forming peaks.
    4. Outline the eye and patch with black glaze and filter tip #30.
    5. Fill out the eye with white and light blue straightening it out with a brush with starch and the patch making black star tips.
    6. Place brown glaze on a decorating sleeve  with filter tip #81, trace the eyebrows and moustache making long movements.
    7. Cover the beard by forming rolled snail shapes.
    8. Finally make the mouth and nose with skin colored glaze using filter tip #21.
