Almond Dessert Recipe

    Ingredients:
    100grs of raw almonds
    1 handful of almonds
    175grs of sugar
    1 spoon of rice starch
    Butter
    2 eggs

    Preparation:
    Heat up the almonds in very hot water and after peel and mash very finely. Mix the ground almonds, the sugar and the starch in a container. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Beat the egg whites till stiff and add them to the previous mix, stir all well until you get a soft dough.

    Turn on the oven and graduate the heat to a medium temperature. Butter a thick paper and wrap the oven tray.

    Make some balls with the dough and place them on top of the paper squashing them so as to have them in flat round cakes. Place a previously toasted and peeled whole almond in the center of each cake. Bake at a moderate heat oven for 15 to 20 minutes until they are brown.
