Almost a Vitreaux Cake Recipe

    Materials
    A little royal glaze
    Light toned jam (pear or orange, for example)
    Sifter
    Brown, red, blue, yellow, green and orange food coloring paste
    Coned paper
    Vitreaux design
    Butter paper

    Shaping and decoration

    1. Trace the design on top of the fondant of the cake made with the help of toothpicks or pins.
    2. With royal glaze of medium consistency dyed dark brown outline the different parts.
    3. Strain the jam, separate it in 6 parts and dye each one a green, yellow, brown, orange, red and blue color.
    4. Place each one in a different coned paper.
    5. Refill the different parts of the design, the frame brown, the center star shape green, the different internal sectors yellow, blue, red, orange and green by using the indications given in the technique for liquid glaze and reduced jam.
