Ingredients
400 grams puff pastry dough
1 cup (250 ml) canned apple purée
2 slightly whisked yolks
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons finely chopped almonds
½ teaspoon powdered nutmeg
2 large green apples, sliced, peeled and without seeds.
3 tablespoons lime jam
125 ml whipped thick cream
Preparation
1. Wrap 4 10 cm tart tins with the dough. Cover them with aluminum foil and put some beans or rice on them. Bake for 10 minutes. Take the wrapping and the grains off.
2, In a bowl mix the puree, the yolks, the honey, the almonds and the nutmeg. Pour the mix onto the tins and place the apple slices on top.
3. Turn down the heat to 180°C and bake for 20 minutes, or until they are completely cooked. Spread jam on them.
Serving Suggestion
They are delicious, either hot, cold or warm, with whipped cream.
