Apples in cream

    Ingredients
    6 apples
    6 eggs
    2 cups of milk
    8 tbsp sugar
    A little butter
    Brandy

    Preparation

    1. Remove the apple cores and fill with butter and brandy.
    2. Place into the oven until they are cooked.
    3. Beat the egg yolks with milk, 3 egg whites till stiff and 6 tbsp of sugar.
    4. Pour onto the apples and place into the oven until they harden, remove from oven.
    5. Beat the rest of the egg whites with 2 tbsp of sugar until stiff.
    6. Cover the apples with the egg white and sugar mix and put into the oven for a while until they are brown.

    Practical advice
    Decorate with a prune on each apple.
