Apricots in Brandy Recipe

    4 servings

    Ingredients
    840 grams canned apricots, cut into halves and drained (don’t get rid of the juice)
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    2  small slices of orange peel
     

    Brandy Syrup
    1 cup juice from the canned apricots
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    2 tablespoons apricot jam
    2 tablespoons brandy
    2 tablespoons orange juice

    Preparation

    1. To prepare the syrup, put the ingredients in a casserole on heat. When it starts boiling, turn the heat down and let it cook for 3 minutes.

    2 Add the apricot halves, the cinnamon and the orange peel. Take the mix off the heat and let it cool down with the surrounding temperature.

    Serving suggestion
    Serve the apricots with ice cream or cream.
