Ingredients
6 big ripe pears
425gr of bread dough bought at a bakery
80gr butter
1 egg yolk
Ground sugar
125gr of fresh cream
Preparation
- Soften the butter lightly and add it to the dough.
- Knead for a few minutes.
- Peel the pears carefully, trying not to sully the bottom of the pears.
- Divide the dough in seven parts.
- Cover each pear with the dough.
- Pinch the dough on the top part and touch up the sides by using a little dab of water to perfect the presentation.
- Cut six slices from the missing dough ball.
- Place them around and stick them by wetting the bottom part of each.
- Brown the dried peach lightly with the egg yolk previously diluted in a dab of water with the help of a brush.
- Place at a medium heat, but very hot oven for around 25-30 minutes.
- Serve with fresh cream and powdered sugar.
