Ingredients
150 grams of apricots, in pieces
1 packet of banana cake mixture
Milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 teaspoon of finely grated lima skin
- Preparation time: 25 minutes
- Baking time: 35 minutes
Preparation
- Preheat the oven at a moderate temperature of 180 degrees C. Grease a round 20 centimeter in diameter baking mold with melted butter or oil.
- Put the apricots in a bowl. Cover them with boiling water and allow them to sit while you prepare the cake.
- Prepare the cake according to the instructions on the packet. Substitute the liquid for the milk. Add in the vanilla essence, the grated lima skin, and the strained apricots. Beat all of the ingredients. Then with the help of a spoon, put the mixture in the baking mold and smoothen out the surface with a spatula. Bake the cake for 35 minutes, or until when poking the center of the cake with a wooden pick it comes out clean.
