- Place the cake on top of the tray and remove the bear ears.
- Place the white glaze where the eye will go, black for the patch and boots and gray for the hook with the help of a spatula.
- Delimit the different parts of the pirate body with black glaze using filter tip #30.
- Fill in the different parts with a star shaped filter tip #71: skin color for the face and hand; red for the jacket; black for the pants and hair (this last one is done by stretching the star shaped tracing).make the beard and moustache too.
- With white glaze in a decorating sleeve with filter tip #201 make the ruffles for the sleeves and jabot.
- With yellow glaze and filter tip #71 make the shoulder ribbings marking 4 or 5 horizontal traces and bordering them under the vertical traces. Change the filter tip to #30 and make the gallons, the chains and the buttons of the jacket.
- Make the hat with black thin cardboard, cut the red streaks, the cross bone skull with glaze paper and place it on the head of the pirate.
