Chicken ginger soup

    Ingredients
    200 grams chicken breast, cut in 2-cm cubes
    10 thick ginger slices
    30 grams finely sliced canned mushrooms
    ½ teaspoon Monosodium glutamate
    1 teaspoon cornstarch
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    sesame-seed oil
    Sugar
    Salt and white pepper

    Preparation

    1. Mix the chicken with salt, pepper, seasoning, a pinch of sugar and a tablespoon of cornstarch dissolved in little water. Marinate in this mixture for at least 15 minutes.
    2. Boil 2 liters of water and stir in the ginger. Then, cook for 2 minutes. Add the chicken, mushrooms, seasoning and cook for 15 minutes under moderate heat. Before serving, pour few drops of sesame-seed oil and soy sauce.

    Some tips

    1. Once served, you may add ½ teaspoon of spring onions in each cup. Use only the white parts of the spring onions.
