It has a sweet taste and is delicious dish thanks to the roasted sesame-seed fragrance.
Ingredients
½ boneless chicken
Soy sauce
1 cup cornstarch
6 lettuce leaves, cut into thin strips
1 can of peaches (optional)
Preparation
1.Bone the chicken as for flour-coated steaks. Put salt and pepper and add a bit o soy sauce to stick flour onto the meat. Roll the chicken on the flour and fry in moderate heat until golden brown.
2.Roast the sesame seeds slightly and grind them. Boil water with sugar, vinegar and the ground sesame seeds. Check to see if you need more sugar. Thicken the sauce with ½ tablespoon of potato flour dissolved in little water, adding ½ teaspoon of soy sauce, salt and pepper. Cut the chicken in 3-cm dices and put them on the lettuce, already cut. Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve it with canned peaches.
Some tips
1. With rice flour, the pieces will be crispier. You may use plain flour instead, cornstarch or rice flour.
2. If desired, remove the chicken’s skin.
3. The sweetness depends on your taste.
4. You may add a bit of hot flavor to the sauce.
