Chocolate and Almond Cake Recipe

    Ingredients
    1 packet of chocolate cake mixture
    1/3 cup of ground almonds
    ¼ cup of laminated almonds
    ½ cup of chocolate seeds

    • Preparation time: 20 minutes
    • Baking time: 25 to 30 minutes

    Preparation

    1. Preheat the oven at a moderate temperature of 180 degrees C. Grease a rectangular 18 by 28 centimeter in diameter baking mold with melted butter or oil. Cover the base and the walls with wax paper. Prepare the cake by following the instructions on the packet. Add in the ground almonds.
    2. With the help of a spoon put the cake dough in the mold and smoothen out the surface. Bake the cake for 25 to 30 minutes or until when poking the cake with a wooden pick it comes out clean.
    3. Let the cake sit for 10 minutes and then place it over a metal rack and allow it to cool. Serve it cut in squares or rectangles. If you like you can sprinkle confectioner’s sugar over it.
