Classic Fruit Cake Recipe

    Ingredients
    6 cups of dry fruit
    1 cup of dates
    1 cup of candied pineapple
    100 cc of liquor
    250 grs of butter
    1 cup of sugar
    5 eggs
    200 grs of flour
    1 teaspoon of cinnamon
    100 grs of almonds
    100 grs of candied fruit
    100 grs of whole wheat flour
    1 teaspoon of vanilla

    Preparation

    1. Pre heat oven at 150c, butter pan with butter or oil,
    2. In a small bowl mix all the dry fruit with the liquor and let marinate for a whole night.
    3. With an electric mixer beat butter, sugar and eggs until creamy gradually add flour, marinate fruit, cinnamon and eggs beat until obtaining a smooth batter, pour the batter on the butter pan and bake for 1 hour in low fire, remove the fruit cake from the oven and let cool down before serving.
