Cranberry Pie Recipe

    Ingredients
    2 teaspoons of flour
    2 teaspoons of whole wheat flour
    2 teaspoons of corn starch
    2 eggs
    1 cup of sugar

    For the frosting
    400 grs of cranberries sauce
    1 egg
    1 cup of sugar
    250 grs of cream cheese
    200 grs of whip cream
    1 teaspoon of gelatin
    2 teaspoons of water
    100 grs of glaze sugar

    Preparation

    1. Pre heat oven at 180c and butter 2 pans with butter or oil and cover pan with wax paper. 
    2. In small bowl with an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until creamy gradually go adding flour until obtaining a smooth batter, pour the batter on the pan and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown, remove from the oven and pan and let the cakes cool down.
    3. In a cooking bowl beat cranberries with an electric mixer until obtaining a smooth cream, in different bowl beat butter and sugar until obtaining a smooth batter add the cream cheese beat until creamy, dissolve the gelatin in a cup of boiling water add the left over cranberry sauce, and cream cheese mix refrigerate the cream for 20 minutes.
    4. Place one of the cakes in a tall round cake tray add the cranberry cream and place the other cake on top refrigerate in the tall tray once it hardens remove form the tray and serve.
